hi guys
yeah, /// really rocked, they made the greatest phones and i still like /// much more than SE
/// was for the minority, but unfortunaly they didn't make enough money
and i have here a t39, man that phone was sooo great and i had it for 1 1/2 year, then i bought a p800 and still have it
and the 768 was my first mobile phone, in yellow
the old times are now gone and they won't come back

yes, its a real pity, but we have 2 accept d facts. i am really happy that u visited us, actually it was d main reason of this topic, that fans and freaks have d opportunity speak about d past.
personally, my good old 320 and 520 reminds me of d big /// fones, ebody mention it. d size of d /// was always a bit bigger than of d other operators, but my oipnion is, that they r more handable and usable than small fones.
my finger has more free place 2 surf on d keypad and optimal serve it at wrighting. of cours i love my t68 and t610 too!!!
wish me an 520 with 65k screen, mms and a camera.

1987: Curt, a converted police radio design turned into an NMT 900 phone and later a ETACS mobile. The first Ericsson handheld. Known officially as the HotLine Pocket.
1989: Olivia. Introduced originally for NMT 900 networks, followed by versions for ETACS, AMPS, and eventually GSM. The first Ericsson GSM phone and consequently its first all digital mobile.
1991: Sandra, first version in NMT 900, then ETACS, D-AMPS/AMPS, and finally GSM in 1993.
1996: Jane, D-AMPS, GSM, DCS, PCS1900/GSM. A 'slim' version appeared in a D-AMPS 1900 model as well as a PDC version
This link has been up before but is defenaetly history.

This is the oldest Ericsson phone I've managed to find:
The phone on the left is a three box set in it's original version. The long pole receiver has one red band wich indicates that it is an export model. The phone on the right is rebuilt in Sweden c. 1890. It has been equipped with an Ericsson coal grain transmitter and an Ericsson receiver. These telephones were used by Stockholm Bell Telefon AB. The company was founded by Bell International, New York in 1880.

Sorry, I'm getting too carried away going back in time...

I desn't seem to have name...
Hang on...
This one is actually older:
LM Ericsson Model 1881
The telephone that was made in 1881 is Ericssons first complete telephone set with transmitter, receiver, magneto and bell. The phone was designed by Lars Magnus Ericsson. The transmitter was a new type called the spiral transmitter, invented by Ericsson.
LM Ericsson made 527 telephones 1881. Next year the wellknown pulpet model was introduced
