Don't link the design and colour.
Should be blue.

some interesting info over at
kotaku regarding the xbox 360:
"... the console is a sleek silver device worthy of countertop display, and features an inhaled design that turns the harsh angles of the original Xbox into sweeps and curves. The device will also be able to stand upright or on it’s side, much like the Playstation 2. The side of the 360° is dominated by an oversized, back-lit power button called the ring of light, and the rest of the case can be customized with colorful designer face plates that pop on and off. The 360°s dashboard will also be customizable, making each console a thing totally unique to its owner.
Some of the inner workings of the 360° have also been confirmed. The device will feature high definition audio and video and wireless controllers, and will come in two flavors—one with a hard drive and one without. The biggest shock is that while Microsoft wants to make their 360° backwards compatible, they haven’t yet been able to pull it off...."
the goss over at
engadget is that the 360 will have a regular DVD drive to keep costs down (not a once-postulated blue-ray disc drive), and "...that it’s going to have an optional hard drive that attaches to the top of Xbox 360 “in a really slick way, almost like the hood scoop on a muscle car...You’ll be able to add the hard drive afterwards without having to take the box apart if you didn’t buy the hard drive version...” "

I have gotta say, would you prefer the ps2 or the xbox?
I had my xbox and fitted it with the executer 2 mod chip and i was able to store games, movies, pics, mp3s etc all on my xbox and also it had its own Os. When fitted with the executer 2 mod chip it was like running a pc as it could play movies stored on the harddrive, play music stored to the harddrive, view picstures stored on it. Also, with the xbox, if you dont own a memory card, you can still save your games using the harddrive inside. When the xbox 2 comes out i will deffo get it, maybe not at first if the price is too high but i will deffo own one and i can say, it will kick Sony's Butt!
Xbox is the way forward!
