Totally agree.

If the P900 had the same camera qualities - it would be the perfect phone for me.

i do agree the pictures are excellent for a imp camera phone. however there is no denying the fact that the phone is a total rip off. to be honest i think se have missed the mark a bit here, if i was taking serious pictures id use nothing less than 2mp and at a push, thats the bear minimum for reasonble quality. if i wanted a phone with a good camera for a reasonable price, then id pick the 7610. im not being biased, i have both the 7610 and s700, but honestly feel that price/ feature/ value ratio, the 7610 wins hands down. however as i said before the picture quality is excellent, and this is a thread for s700 pics so im not sure if this is the right place for my opinion anyway....

At the end of the day, will be more expensive than Nokia, simply because Nokia are so much bigger and can afford to make less profit, they make their money by the sheer volume of sales, whereas the smaller companies cant rely on shifting vast amounts of units in the same way Nokia can. Off topic, i know

thats not really how the market works, its to do with price pointing to a given customer base. if you were right then se would still have to charge large prices for lower grade phones, like t630 etc. se have a reputation for overpricing new handsets from the begining, irrespective of market share. however i agree, this is not realy the point of the topic,

I too feel this phone is a ripoff. If only the price came down to about 345 pounds, then I would buy it without hesitation.

The photos made Siemens S65,Nokia 7610 of bad quality. S700 does the photos better

Ahh... finally someone who knows how to take proper shots with his S700i. Colours looks vivid and accurate and I guess white balanced has been changed to suite the environment. No offence to you other guys!

:::EDIT:::
Ooops I didn't read that you had changed your white balance, ahh well that just shows that I was right.
