Centered text at the top of the pages is now on the left at the top of web sites. The phone consumes less power. That is all i have seen for now in r1k. :-)

as far as I can see most packs are availiable for R1K, so it should also be the latest version for EU_1. But it is very messy with Z1010 firmware, so maybe someone else can confirm...

I modded my DCU-11 cable according to the page at:
http://www.davinciteam.com/index.php?page=manual-cablemod
I haven't bought any credits yet, I was wondering if there's a way to make sure that I have modified it correctly and it works. Or should I buy the credits and just try my luck?

download and start the client... connect your phone... RSA -> check RSA... if something happens after you press on (RSA not active, etc.) then your cable is OK... If nothing happens than your cable is not OK... PM or ICQ me if you need more help.

@alexp: download the totalserver client and test your cable with the read cid button, that is for free.

So, is there a new firmware since R1G007 for EU1? What new features and bugfixes does R1K have?

Finally: The R1K firmware for EU1 is now available on the official Sony Ericsson Server. This server has the only original Sony Ericsson software versions.
Remember, if you update your Z1010 yourself with Totalserver or other programs, you will lose your warranty and the software you get is not the official released and final version.
Greetings, Alex

Is it possible to update 3 branded phones to newer firmware versions? Or you have to debrand it first? I ask so, as I would like not to lose my guarantee

Maybe you should visit a SE service shop. They know the answer. As far as I know it is possible to unlock the Z1010 official by SE shops. Shouldn't be a problem.
R1K is a great software, but the mobile breaks down if you choose "streaming options" in the "connections" menu.
Greetings, Alex
