D 'perfect phone' is a reltive term, I believe. A 3310 is "perfect" 4 someone like my mom who believes a phone should be a phone & not attempt 2 be anything else.The p800 is "perfect" 4 me at d moment,bu dat wont last... :-) Nobody is ever going to make a truly perfect phone.

Once again we come back to the "why bother" question. It is obvious that SE wants their phones to appeal to a certain market segment. It seems that the s and k 700's are to appeal to a higher class market, thus the higher price. Same scenario of VW and Porcshe. Both are made by the same parent group but a VW is not a Porsche, even though they are both cars. If SE can get top dollar for their phones, more power to them. If I like one of their phones and it costs $1000, and I want it, I will simply buy it. Bottom line.
Also, it is like Microsoft refusing to sell XBox in the Middle East. They have no plans to do so here in the immediate future. They say that the market is not right for their products. Same principle could apply here. While I am sure that SE wants to sell their phones everywhere, they are particular about which ones they sell where and the prices they charge for them.

@kooki - The SE T610's competitor in the Nokia brand is the Nokia 7250 . . . the Nokia 7250i can outbest the T610 . . . by heaps and bounds mate! And the Nokia 7650 can beat it by 1 Billion Miles - wide!

@kooki - Yeah that's the only setback - size! But the 3660 has an expandable memory card slot, while the 7650 has a - 4 MB memory, far much greater (twice as much) with your T610's - 2 MB . . . mate

im talking about a small, stylish, feature packed phone for 100pounds approx like the t610
no phone has even come close to it!
3660 maybe better feature wise
but for a moderate user, the t610 is the best!

7250?, are you kidding?, that thing cannot be compare with the T610, not in look or features.
