@Dunder,

You need to make sure that security is off on both devices. This is the only way to make it work.

@Mac,

Do you think the main reason that he is writing is because he tried and failed, thus the request for help. As we have all seen, SE and Mac, while working most of the time, does not always work all of the time. In this case there is nothing wrong with him finding a solution for him that works. If he likes Nova Media and it works, then I am glad that I am doing something to help him out.

Mac OS X 10.3.7 is out today!

Get it in your Software Update or as a standalone installer.

@sapporobaby,
thank you once again for your help and support.

@Mac, i have the same BT settings (ISP number, username and password), thus every time i dial it fails.

i am not pushing NovaMedia per se, i am just happy that this app allows me to do what i couldn't do before, thus i was merely posting a reply to say THANK YOU to @sapporobaby for suggesting it.

Thanks JoolsG4, I am updating right now. I were wishing for some iSync enhancements as well, but the tech doc didnŽt mention anything about that. Guess IŽll have to wait for Isync 1.6 to have proper P910i support.

Hi Mac/SE owners...

I've recently bought a SE P910i after a friend telling me how great his P900 isyncs with his Mac.

I cant get iSync to do anything with mine...grrrr!

I can pair the device in BT prefs, I can find evice with iSync (no icon though), but whem trying to actually sync, the iSync log reports:

"9:44:44 pm Error |Dom's P910i| iSync was unable to connect to Dom's P910i. Try syncing again."

Needless to say, syncing again does not yield any results!

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.

PMac G4 Dual 1Ghz
1GB RAM
OSX 10.3.7
iSync 1.5 (ver139)
ICal 1.5.5 (ver670)
DBT-120 BT Module - firmware upgraded 20/12/04 (today!)

SE P910i
- CDA: R2A03
- Org.: R2A17

Here's hoping....

Have you tried looking at your firewall settings? Try a new port (3004) it took me a couple of times of re-pairing but it works smoothly now (p800 thou but the principles should be the same.)

I've tried to use the method listed above, but have hit a wall. The device address is not so easy to find. In the Engine data file the is a document "SymbianConduitContactSynchronizer-??-??-??-??-??-??.syncdb" Is this the address I need??
