Having read all your comments I would conclude that the K700 is the nearest rival SE has to the D500. The S700 has too many obvious advantages (memory. Screen, radio. Multi-tasking), and I tend to agree with Scotsboy, if you are going to leave SE then the D5 isn't a bad handset at all.
