don't you think they are trying? its not easy. you can't say one day i want a manufactury in place X up and running in 1month. its not easy.
and SE's main problem is that they are to concurned about there money.
Well of course they are trying, no doubt. I was implying that they werent.
No, I wasnt saying in 1 day manufacturer should do xy or z and be right up there. SE have been in the market for a while now.

I thought that SE was making some profit now, finally. As long as they are profitable and their market share is not declining I don't see a problem.
The market is mainly Nokia and others, all the other not differing all that much.
Concerning LG: one can not overlook that they have good looking handsets and an interesting price-quality position.

I don't care where SE is in the manufacturers ranking.
As long as they keep making great phones and still be profitable to stay on the market.
Aston Martin is a great car and you don't see many around (I'm not in Britain

)

so funny that many here like to associate SE with "stratopheric priced toys of the very rich & famous". for all we know 70-80% of price you pay for these toys is for the stick on label only. and i think an aston martin will give you more headache such as reliability/maintenance issues than a toyota.

They must watch out for the magical 5% ! ! ! Once they drop below that their days are numbered ! What I find very bothersome is the fact that SE is considered a hi-end market manufacturer, but none of their products are really hi-end anymore compared to the competition ! (Apart of the pricing) Fortunately for them,there are still poepols,I mean people,who consider hi-price to equate to hi-end !For example : tell me the name of a single handset SE manufacture, which can beat the 6680 from Nokia as a all-arounder?And even worse for them, the rest of the competition began nipping at the dwindeling customer base.Wake up SE, Wake up ! The 5% marging is going to get you if you don't ! Greetings from South Africa.Mario

@mib
I won't get into a discussion with you because i know your kind of arguments.
AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY SINGLE ISSUE WITH AN ERICSSON or SONYERICSSON TO DATE.
The ones i did were easily solved. Never had "humidity traces" in my phone
So you can shove that argument of yours.
