@goodisor
yes I'm familiar with that solution, but it just doesn' work for me. I have all my buttons taken with other functions. Besides i don't want to push buttons. I'm very lazy and forgetful when it comes to solutions like that. I have my phone do everything by "itself"

Quote:Could there be an option "do not start the screensaver when xx app is running"?Your suggestion is queued for inclusion in some later version, but not the current one coming out this week, and with low priority, as it would overwhelm the Preferences dialog, and probably not many people need it in everyday practice. Until included, you could experiment with longer auto-lock times, like 30 sec or 1 min.

That's nice to hear. I know it cannot be high priority it would just be nice.

Actually, not only xx app, but sometime when I'm reading my LONG SMS... bigben auto-lock my phone in the setting time.
Therefore I would like to suggest in the next version, it could has an option: disable auto-lock in FO mode but enable in FC mode. So I could read SMS, play chess game. And when I close the keyboard, bigben could auto lock it.
Thanks!
p.s. BTW, I like bigben very much, great utility! good work!

That would do as well. I think none of us who uses the flip really needs the auto-lock function in FO mode.
Lisa@CPS
Could that be a solution we can hope for?

said that the above is a brilliant idea, so it's being included in the next BigBen update. There will presumably be an "Auto-lock modes" item in Preferences with options like None, FC, FO, Both. Is that OK? The release is delayed a little bit, but expectable to be out in next week.

Version 1.30 of BigBen has been released. New features include:
- Custom text can be specified that appears on screensaver
- Unlock message can be customized as well
- New option to leave the phone in locked state when opening the flip
- Unlock menu can be temporarily switched off
(By combining the above features, security against people picking up your phone can be strongly improved.)
- Active and quiet times can be specified for reminder sounds and hourly chime
- Autolock times can be separately specified for both flip modes
- Autolock disabled when connected to PC
- Improved behavior on Motorola phones
The upgrade is free for registered users, and a free trial is available for all.

Thank you very much for this update, which I have been longing for.
I have some feedback:
1. Bug/peculiarity with silent times
The times allowed for each day of the week range from 12:00am to 11:59pm (0:00 to 23:59). This is ok for weekdays, but does not allow for my required settings at the weekend, as follows:
Mon 7:30am - 11:00pm
Tue 7:30am - 11:00pm
Wed 7:30am - 11:00pm
Thu 7:30am - 11:00pm
Fri 7:30am - 2:00am (Sat)
Sat: 10:00am - 2:00am (Sun)
Sun: 10:00am - 11:00pm
This requires a "day" to be defined as (say) 4:00am until 3:59am (the following day).
I think most people would be more comfortable with this "tv-guide-style" separation of days.
2. Feature Request - Colour
White is nice and bright and clear, but it would be great to be able to define our desired display colour. Preferably two colours, corresponding to the above reminder on/off times (eg. bright white during the day when reminders are on, soft red at night while reminders are off).
Number 2 is for future consideration, but I think number 1 is quite crucial (hopefully other users will agree). Do you think a quick update to fix this would be possible?
Thanks
