@sammy it works just great! couldnt tell u know any special advice, buy that card and enjoy esato! or other sites. email client, syncML, gprs, voice controls, speakerpfhone etc etc etc. go for it and dont forget to report here and post some pix! any time, anything! just ask.

In the meantime, here's a collection of the /// and phones i have currently: I've just fixed the T39 (had a mic fault) and just fitted a new screen to the T68i - both now working like a dream! By the way, I'm selling one of the GA628s if anyone's interested.



I've only recently started using the GPRS feature on my phone more (to browse Esato mostly! ), having only used it previously to quickly check a few football scores, so expect lots of silly questions on another thread or somewhere!!

It arrived this morning! The R520 is a bit bulkier than I thought, but looks like a nice, big phone that will be useful for browsing the Esato site! Here it is anyway, recieving it's first charge.....



By the way, i almost bought an R520 that was copper and silver off Ebay, and one picture of the phone had 'prototype' written on the back sticker near to the IMEI number, manufacturing date, etc. Unfortunately the seller finished the listing early, which was a shame! Did I nearly buy a pre-production R520? Picture of the sticker below:

Indeed, sadly the the date of the first release is by every day far and far away. I mean the first r520 series before the recall. As i remember they launched some 10 thousands of it. There was an article on esato too. This message was posted from a R520

From what I could see from the photos the phone looked to be in good nick as well! And it was boxed, had all it's accessories that I could see.... Keep looking on Ebay in case it gets re-advertised, but to no avail yet!

Hard, but not without any hope. The other problem is the upgrade, dont think that se still have it in the sertices. Protos do need it, i upgrade my every half year with the latest version, hope it will work some more year long with it. This message was posted from a R520
