T610 has java,BT,more colours, more..
If u r buget allows and u want those features rthe go for it.
I'll buy T610 or later when i get a job.At present i can't spend that much for a mobile.What i look in a mobile is
Faster GPRS i mean more slots that a phone can support,Poly RT,BT,Ir,Colours and wider screen and small phone and T610 has all that.

I want from my next phone bt, java, poly ringtones, infra, integrated camera, colour screen, must be fast with GPRS, synchronization, personalization and what i very miss on my t300 a calendar. I also like flip phones, but i don't like the design of z600.

About ur 2nd question Just download those to ue PC the u can transfer then to ur mobile using Ir or cable.If u don't have yet i'll suggest go for Ir or USB Ir , don't go for cable.
If u have GPRS then u can download directly to ur mobile.

As sonu said. I recommend to buy an IRDA dongle, as a cable is only for a specific phone and infra is universal. But I prefer to download via wap as I have unlimited GPRS connection.
