afaik r520 has got gprs, never heard of any with edge. however there is the umts version of it.

Valentina is the R520 UMTS prototype:
There's NO EDGE-R520.
UMTS-function is not complete researched, because there are only two or three UMTS-protos I know about and only one is switching on, but not sure if it works propper.
Maybe Ericsson_man can help with details.

@kothor afaik its only a proto, guess /// tested it for data transfer. have to admit, that r520 has got a very fast gprs, of course, its network depending aswell.
