Wow Boba! what a rare find in a shop too. Most shops are concerned with megapixels and cheap contracts nowadays!

Ericsson man's tool looks very handy too.

I got another R310s today!
I bought a yellow one back in 2001 when it was new, but my friend sold his today (also yellow), and I couldnīt resist. Itīs almost like brand new, with box and everything!

I also got the adventure-kit from him. (I had one of these before also, so now I have two of them)

I just wanted to add some love from an old /// guy!

Cheers!

PS. I donīt collect phones, but when I get phones I donīt say no, so this is what I got right now:
GA628 x2, GF788, T10, R310 x2, R520, R600, T66, T68 prototype, T610, K750. Too bad I sold my old T18, R320 and Z1010 years ago.

Hi Guys,

An office mate just recently donated to me a 3 year totally deserted A1018s (steel blue) which had been unrepaired by 3 shops as well but they all gave up, as she told me she was actually amazed on how I manage to collect /// phones & maintain them all the same time.

It just needed an lcd replacement (which, luckily I had one spare) & a little flush to revive old stagnant circuitry...voila...IT'S ALL WORKING FINE, just had too clean off the casing to give out its lovely "steel blue" color & used some detergent on its keypads-JUST LIKE IT NEVER HAD LEFT THE FUNCTIONING PHONES LIST.

Malaysian made at 00W12 firmware is CXC125119 prg 991105 1519

Works great with my HPR-08

@guys,

i have here a t28sc (from a friend) with a "no access" problem. when i checked the sim lock menu, it is unlocked so i assume that you could use your local sim. i tried the sims from my 2 local telcos and it always ends up with "no access" problem. any way of solving this problem???

btw, my friend told me that he has used the unit abroad and has been working then.

everything works fine with the unit. just the "no access" problem.

thanks for your inputs.

The handset sounds blocked. As if it were reported as stolen or lost on an insurance claim for a new handset.

@ynohtna

... and if it's not blocked it's most likely a hardware problem which is not easy to fix yourself (I would guess it's the PA module that's broken)
