Sorry guys, but the hopes of some of you are too high... You'll see in a couple of days, there won't be something we haven't seen yet (except maybe some additions/corrections of what we heard).
I'm glad mine aren't that high this time
But the phones we've seen so far aren't that bad I think

It's been over six months since the last phone announcement so I people might be forgiven for expecting something major, although I'm happy with what I've seen so far and if the phones are running Gingerbread at launch, as rumoured, then that will be a big plus.

the stuff leaked IS kinda cool. But thats in comparison to last years phones(and only sonyericssons). What i'd like to know is, are the phones competitive? Both price and spec-wise. No matter how decent they are, don't you think it wil suck if they look outdated compared to say htc, samy or even lg?

Are you sure? AFAIK honeycomb is for tablets and dual core phones only.

@ avmaxfan
I don't think so. If that would be true then the Nexus S wouldn't get honeycomb also and that is not likely to happen.

@avmaxfan,
Yes it was rumoured the honeycomb will be for tablets and top high-end phones only duo to its UI design that target high-res screens ( eg. = large ones found in top high-end phones and tablets ) and it was also rumoured that google was thinking about making and maintaining two versions... 2.x and 3.x targeting low+mid range and high-end + tablets respectivly... but personally I thought it as bad rumour or bad marketing... what if that low+mid version reached 2.9 ?
so for me it's was just a rumour that failed to be believed... I think that Honeycomb will indeed support tablets and high-res phones, but it will also support at least mid range phones... I don't think it will require features such as dual-core; for example Galaxy tab is known to be update later to Honeycomb when available and it does not have dual cores.. it has the exact same CPU as Galaxy S !! so even Galaxy S might have Honeycomb ( duo to Samsung working already on Galaxy Tab )...
Android popularity might expand it well beyond smartphone, it started as Smartphone OS, now as tablet OS, next who knows... car entertainment system ? I hope that !!
