Can anyone tell me if there is a way to speed up data transfer onto my W900 via usb.
It seems a bit slow I was wondering if the phone is configured more for pc than osx.
Anyways nice to know Sony have finally got a model that works with Macs.

Does your Mac have USB 1.1 ports or USB 2.0? If its 1.1 you'll really only see a speed increase by getting some USB 2.0 ports.

I've managed to lock the phone out (sim lock) puk required, lesson here is don't change codes when you've had a beer or five,
anyway as I'm waiting for the phone to be ported from O2 to Vodaphone I cannot get puk code, will firmware change/reset defaults if it will I can take it back to CPW.

Apparently all new SE models are using OTA (over-the-air) firmware upgrades, so no computer will be required at all soon... doesn't help existing models though...

My w900 has frozen after I had to disconnect from my mac without ejecting the phone.
The phone wouldn't show up on mac and then mac froze and I had to hold power button down on mac to get everything going again.
Any ideas?
