But he was talking about the (slightly blurrier) pictures of what is obviously the exact same phone - whatever it's called - claiming that was Windows mobile. It's not, simple as that.

yeah..!!!....but in the end...all we can do iz...wait till 11th oct....and i hope..we..all..get..a good news...

i dont know it might just be me but i dont really think hermione is a replacement of the p910,it looks like a completely different range of product from the current p-range and i would think the p910 successor it looks kind of an experimental product which will be backed up by the proper p910 replacement

My thoughts - but you must bear in mind that SE have definitely discontinued the P910 which leaves them needing a replacement. Methinks ,as posted before, that they are after the Blackberry market with the p950, with another possible launch aka "Hermione" to follow. Just seems that when ever SE stop production something is imminent. I think we may see a fairly quick p950 launch, with Hermione next year for the "ubergeeks" .

Just a comment, I personally think the flip is a step in the wrong direction - I always found the thinner keys of the P900 annoying - the P910 keypad is much more "finger friendly"..... but who knows - maybe the pics are a leak of a pre-production test and the final version looks different ?

Mr Indian,

in case you've somehow "forgotten" my earlier post with regards to PPC devices having phone functions, here's a reminder link to "refresh" your memory

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=93796&start=465

Unless to you, those shotcomings on PPC (Windows Mobile 2003 SE) are "advantages" over Symbian UIQ, then by all means, go ahead to get yourself an Imate (Jam) or XDA II (mini) or HTC. I suspect most, if not all of these shortcomings are still there in Windows Mobile 2005, but thus far I have yet to have a chance to play with it. Only time will tell...

Cheers
