Unfortunately I never had a normal R320s, so.... my first Ericsson was a GF768 then I jumped to nice T65 skyblue...

But do you know 1. How many of these red R320 were produced?
2. Why did Ericsson sell "prototypes"?

I begin to understand what rarity I got... I bought it in a second-hand shop that sells other used fones, but moderner ones like K700, T630 (and so on!) in a little town called Fribourg near Bern, Switzerland.

Ericsson demonstrates for the first time GPRS mobile phone (16.02.2000)
During the GSM world congress in Cannes Ericsson will demonstrate an executable GPRS net, whereby as terminal a mobile prototype is used, which supports both GSM and GPRS (general pack radio service). The GPRS mobile phone was built into the housing of a R320s-WAP-Mobile, Ericsson stressed however that future GPRS mobile phones, which should be available starting from the first quarter 2001 in numbers of items will be based on another Design.
