I think it is more correct to say that SE does not have quantity because it does not have resources (small company

) to come up with more phones. I dont think quality has anything to do with it.
It is a known fact that SE phones do not excel in quality compared to the industry. K750 was buggy when it came out. And P990 is bug-ridden even after such long delay. And I dont even want to mention the cheap quality casing used in recent phones.
i don't think any indutry releases phones with no bugs anymore from a UI perspective...maybe samsung but that's because those don't really do anything but look pretty.
i'm also in the boat with you on SE quality..certain phones have excellent build quality.. s700, w900, k800, m6, p9 to name a few
but then some have mediocre (or not lasting performance) every k750i i run into over 8-12 months old.. has a sticky joystick either defective or dust related and a camera shutter button that doesn't work properly
i think the 2 phones that have been released with relatively stable UI's and build quality have to be the w900/k800 i've had no issues with either of them except minor firmware upgrades..
the w810 get's an honourable mention too...

No phone is perfect. In terms of SW or FW issues, i think it's a good idea to remember that phones have so many things on them nowadays that something is bound to go wrong at some point.

se is just like

, a minority of mob fone users are addicted to the design, features and support, what se offers, but se will never ever come big out imo of course they will sell fones and be on the market, but they still have much to learn. sometimes i have the feeling, that se has no really strategy, after 5 years its time to have one. as written above in the start, se is just like

. mayn ppl in the past didnt recognized that

is ahead its time, ppl looked at the design and menu, but dint see cos of the wood the forrest, what those great

foens offered in case of features and support. se has the chance to overcome its own shadow, but marketing and strategy, good fw and wow fones are needed, not to make the same device 10 times with tiny differences ( k750, w800, d750, w810 ), let it be the tradition of nokia. have to admit, that rules and brings success, but we are talking of se...

Exactly. SE lacks a WOW phone. W950 without a camera is a complete thumbs down.

camera and walkman feature, thats all what makes se to bit more better and exclusive next to other brands. but next to those features, not much to offer and the mentioend 2, arent the most important segments of afone.

Yes, and its about time SE realise the importance of having a hardscreen smartphone in their portfolio. A java based phone, with no matter what feature, will always be inferior to a smartphone without those features. It just wont be "smart"

I think, in se's case, they'll get there eventually...it's clear that the majority of their handsets are well built (in comparison to some nokia's) and alot of se handsets ooze quality....
Obviously they don't have the financial clout of nokia, but thats not to say they can't compete...for me personally, when i think of se i think quality...when i think nokia, i think variety..thats not to say they don't have quality handsets (n80, n73, 6600)...but the quality ratio, so to speak, is on se's side....given time, se will make quite a dent....
As for the "nokia nearly went bankrupt"..thats certainly news to me....
