@mankeymonkey - glad it not just me

@Paul McLaren - i'm so tempted to do the same but 100 texts is too little.

i'm going to go in to northampton (thats where the nearest O2 and CPW is) 1 day next week and check out what they can offer me. i really dont want to wait aslong as the 23rd if i dont have to.

i may even consider switching over to vodafone if the branding isn't too bad...

i feel that O2 has messed me arround a little

This is really getting to be a long wait. What are they thinking. Or are they taking advantage of the really good ability of branding of UIQ3?

teliin you guys... go to vodafone. better mins texts and the branding ion their P990i hand sets is basicly the same as O2 just on the startup screen.

i'm doing it tomorrow evening.

i went to the vodafone store and i got offered 750 mins 500 texts and FOC P990i for £35 p/m

or at the carphone warehouse i got the same deal but with a sim free P990i for £110. thats what i'm going for

Sounds like a good deal, but for me i don't need all those txt or mins, so i'll wait and get my cheaper deal from O2. If Vodafone would offer me a deal like O2 i'd be off in a shot.

cheers Oz

Ditto

1000 mins Xnet, 200 sms on 12 month, with 3 month roll over and ITS for £35 per month is pretty close to perfect for me!!! O2 have offered it on a retention deal so Voda is off again!!!

So if i went into cpw after i get my pac code from o2 i can get a sim free (ie no vodafone startup or shutdown) generic P990i for £110 on the same tariff as above? Is it a 12 month contract and how long does it take for a pac code to come? Also do you have to request the generic handset when you go in?

Thanks guys!
