If you like it just buy it (Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens, Panasonic, or whatever). Even if SE dies off you still be using your whatever SE phones right.

Nokia is really good with advertising. THey have low -end units and high end units. So they capture the market ( class a b c or d). Sony Ericsson markets the class A and B market.

I think Nokia wil loose their grip on the market. The market share will be more equally splitted between the big companies. That's my opinion.

I'm afraid that this statement is more of a wishful thinking than reality. There is absolutely nothing indicating that Nokias market share will even start falling (it has been increasing through this year) let alone fall to 15%.

Well, keep laughing, Nokia guys also have a big smile on their face.
More than 1 million 7650 devices have been sold over the world, and it is estimated that 3 million of them will be sold by the end of this year. This is a VERY impressive number for a phone like 7650, which certainly isn't targeted for mass market. God only knows how many 3650's will be sold when it comes out. I'm afraid that P800 won't be even nearly as succesful, because of its delay. If it came out when it should, around the same time as 7650, it would have been a very big success...

I don't know where you get the source tht sonyericsson is big....but maybe you are referring to 3G patent? but i thought those huge patent is under Ericsson.
FYI, Sony is sony, Ericsson is Ericsson...no matter how huge both company are, Sony Ericsson is a small company as it is a joint venture of both company. don't threat it like their gigantic parent. In term of head count, I am sure they are small because Nokia main business is making phone but SE was mainly a spin of from two company's smaller product devision.
Of course,SE will definitely take time to get their foot hold in the market regardless how the other is doing. But the main thing for them now is still getting a good product out, not a few like nokia but one tht offer things tht general public love.
I will still using an SE phone as it is the only one tht let me really feel the real meaning of plug and play!!! Can nokia do tht....nah!!!! Tht's a personal preferences
