quite simply, what i want from the P1 successor is something VERY similar to the HTC TyTN II
-a nice big slide out keyboard
-a huge screen (~3")(it would be nice if i could see it outside too, unlike the m600)
-HSDP-friggin-A at 3.6MB/s or more (they managed to build it into my laptop (along with some stupid flimsy aerial thing) it cant be that difficult to fit it into a mobile)
-A landscape mode so that I can more comfortably read the screen in a ratio I'm used to and documents and everything looks better in general (I'm sorry, but I HATE being forced to look at things in portrait)
-A nice swift processor (~550-600MHz, nothing stupid like 1GHz which would just eat the entire battery)
-USE A MEMORY CARD THAT I'LL ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO USE WITH SOMETHING ELSE
-WiFi g would be nice, but i can't see the point of it in a phone personally (if I know i'm going to need internet access, i'll take my laptop, and when i do use my phone for internet its for sporadic things like getting one or two emails or getting hold of a map of the local area...hardly going to use my entire 3GB internet allowance)
-GPS so if I need to get somewhere quickly I can just put the phone on the dashboard, punch in a postcode and go (like the TyTN II)
-
some sort of protection for the screen built in, so that i can use my fingers without making horrible fingerprints all over the screen

500-600mhz? in a PDA? Jeez I remember the good old Psion 5mx with 32mhz processor and a two week battery life from a couple of AA's. NOW THAT WAS A PDA PPL!
