@xlcbr
yes, using omnius.
You can change the customize_upgrade.xml with your cda, infact i only put empty xml for the phone to read the file manager softkey.

All phones have a customisation file mate. It determines the languages and region the phone is intended for.

Unfortunately a lot of people assume everyone knows everything about their phone which is not true.

To view the software version properly you need to access the service menu. This is done by quickly pressing right, star, left, left, star, left, star. Where left/right refers to the d pad and Star refers to the star button on the keypad (bottom left)

My Elm didn't. I bought it branded on O2-UK from them on release day.
This is the info from the phone

Customisation
No CDA
1229-0655 R7BA076
Telefonica O2

It worked fine though. I've debranded since then though, Will try this new update in a min.

Updated my Elm, worked fine, apart from clear voice and noise shield now been listed in the calls menu, I can't really notice a difference.

Maybe a little faster, the facebook app was slow before so will comment on that tomorrow.

Phone is still slower if you have facebook running (but faster in general), also internet over wifi no longer works. It connects to wifi fine (better than before), but it can't use the internet over it.

General phone signal has improved aswell, still no internet over wifi though.

Ok, I left my Elm turned off for 10 hours last night and the wireless now works fine, and google maps/tracker connect to the GPS fine (quite a bit faster than before).

So I have to say overall a decent update.

I've just installed R7CA061, using SEUS this time, and everything works perfectly. Even the widgets work.

that was menu in settings - display - background - and there was options - picture, application, from theme, none.
Also in information of application was (deactivated - highlighted) option to set application as background.
This functionality was never function in Elm because of widgets.
