Never heard about something like that. The standby fault of T39 has been fixed by EMMA patch and the RF processor fault of T28 also has been fixed by warranty repair but not by a recall.

about protos: On how many of the other protos, other than the R320, is written "prototype" I mean explicite? I saw other protos, but never with the name written on it.

i never saw any other fone like that with the proto text on it. good question actually, my r520 proto is just the "ususal one", there was a sticker on the back

The R520 UMTS has also a "prototype" on the cover.

Some R520 and R380 have a viewable "prototype" on the back,





but most have a "prototype" on the IMEI sticker.







The R320 GPRS maybe could be used with the DBA-10 plug to convert it to a BT-phone. BUT I'm not sure if the firmware suports the DBA-10. T28 and ordinary R20 needed a firmware upgrade to support the DBA-10. MAybe the GPRS firmware aready has this feature from the beginning. With the DBA-10 you can use BT-headsets and transfer data to PC via BT for example.
