Is it just me, or does the USB connectivity of K750s still randomly crash the Finder (running on a MacBook under 10.4.8 )?
This gave me grief before (on a G4 macmini), but at the time I used the K750 grabber to resolve the issues, which by the way is on PPC code so I have no idea if this will work under Intel CPUs (rosetta and all, but since it's a kext driver it might end up causing all sorts of other problems).
Anyone?

I did say SE or Apple should supply the drivers. My Palm TX has drivers that came with the device and are I think for a K700 and seem to work with a K800. Maybe I was spoiled when i first got a Titanium PB and it came with drivers for a R520m, which I had at the time. I we live in a windows world and it is a bonus if a device comes with drivers for mac, but it gets frustrating at times.
I don't have a problem paying for useful software I bought Novamedea's iSync plugins and Clicker for my phone, would rather put up with a slow connection than spend 50 on another driver.
Bring on the iPhone?

I think it's really up to the phone maker to provide drivers. Palm provided them with your T|X, right? The ball is in SE's court. We Mac folks usually have to rely on independent developers for programs like a phone browser or modem script. A quick search on VersionTracker.com turned up nothing so I guess we're waiting for SE to pick up on Mac support. Personally, I'm not holding my breath. This is exactly why I keep a ThinkPad lying around the house. If I want to update the firmware on my Blackberry then I need a computer that runs Windows. There are lots of little bothersome reasons to keep a Windows box around, darn few to make me use one on a regular basis. What does encourage me is that the Mac is starting to see some third-party solutions for phones. PocketMac has a great version of their connectivity software for Blackberries and Macs. They included support for Entourage, plus all the usual navive Mac apps like AddressBook, iCal, etc. Now if we could get something like this for SE phones it could be the beginning of a partnership or co-branding deal. It might just have legs!

@rambo47,
I will make this sooooo easy for you.
SE is not interested in supporting the Mac OS X or any Mac platofrm. Pure and simple. They have stated it, so do not look to SE for support.

Yeah, I wasn't really expecting it, just musing on how nice it would be for us Mac users. I'm pretty used to getting no support and being pleasantly surprised when it pops up.

Anyone get their W810 to work 100% with Address Book?
I followed
this advice, which enabled on-screen caller ID, dialing, and inbound/outbound SMS. However, the "Voice Mail" and "Answer" buttons popped-up during a call by Address Book don't work right. Anyone figure this out?

Just to let you know. SE says that they have no intention of actively supporting Mac products and have deferred to Apple for all SE phone support. This is why I have left SE and hope that they take a massive hit and go down the tubes. While I am no Nokia fan, they do support Mac and have started a push to provide better support.

leaving se because of apple isn't going to cause them to take a hit lol... the apple laptop share is very very small and i prefer it to stay that way....less viruses to go around lol
