BART, it's sad that you didn't win the clock, but please don't cry for patience here on esato, if you can't afford the money for the item. If I'd knew that you won't place a good bid, I would have also placed a bid. I didn't because of loyalness to you but now I'm a bit angry. have just gotten an ericsson r380. made in sweden. Years ago, I had also the same unit with a pale green backlight. My recent purchase was with a white backlight. r1a06. What's the official backlight of the ericsson r380s? green or white?
I lost that previous one to a software upgrade by a local supplier here (from a working unit to a dead brick). My stupidity. My mistake. If aint broke,do not fix it!!!

I really wonder what happened to your old phone. Sometimes a flash procedure can end up with an error but you can always retry it. As long as the phone itself is not damaged (flash ic broken) it's no problem to flash the phone a second or third time to get it working again. The guys who made the update should have known this.
