indeed, and i compared the hardware to a normal T66 and it seems almost identical, almost like its a final edition prototype...

well, defining identical differences, the word "almost" is not a good one
. for example, i have a k750 prototype with 04w40 manufacturing date, and it's motherboard "almost" looks like my "normal" k750. of course, in the outside the proto looks like it had not been "finished".

I now that on one of the bay proto auctions a suitable cover has been sold. It's been the cover of a T1x series handset but as far as I remember the name was placed within the GF-series like GF988 or something like that.
