Indeed. I know that people like over-saturated, over exposed images out of the box, but that doesn't mean that the camera is good or is a "Clear winner". To the trained eye, the satio's images are the ones that are correctly exposed.

@mode
You are right. There is not a clear winner.
Also it is wrong to make any comments before the retail device comes.
I fed up all the comparisons made with the prototype.
They only mislead.

Sony Ericsson Satio hits the shelves, costs a fortune
The long sought after Sony Ericsson Satio has just been released and it's attacking the retailers worldwide. So if you spent the last couple of months dreaming of buying the beast, now might be a good time to break that piggy bank of yours. After all early adopters are and rip off prices are pretty much synonyms as far as mobile phone manufacturers are concerned.
The Sony Ericsson's flagman Satio, previously known as Idou, became the dream gadget of many people since its announcement back in February during the MWC 2009. The Satio managed to impress with 3.5-inches touchscreen, 12 megapixel camera with xenon and LED flashes, all connectivity options you may think of and the latest Symbian S60 5th edition OS.
Its hardware resembles that on its rivals - a 600Mhz AMR Cortex CPU with PowerVR SGX graphics - the same stuff used in Apple iPhone 3GS, Nokia N900 and Samsung i8910 Omnia HD.
Sony Ericsson Satio is out there just today and can be yours for 650 euro (don't say we didn't warn you). The price is high, but the phone is still hot. We'll be doing our best to acquire one for an in-depth review as soon as possible, but until that happens you might want to check our preview article.

That price is wrong. People from different countries are quoting lower prices at the Satio blog.

In the Satio v Pixon comparison the satio makes that purple flower look off colour

I beg to differ.
The Satio's colors are more natural while the Pixon's colors are oversaturated and noisy. The Samsung (And Nokia) approach is more striking and most people would be happy with this; so I can see why you prefer that one.
