@Boba
not very often

I'm mostly using

phones now... the battery to my R380e has given up I think, I must have it connected to a charger in order to have it working.

I could probably gotten a battery from my last place of work if I just had asked

don't remember the production date, I have it in a box out in my storeage space so I'll check that later... it's actually a R380s which just has the R380e firmware, still the purple cover.

rosewhite,
impressive and amazing collection. How do you recharge all of those phones? Per batch or all at the same time??? just asking and wondering.
Again, very nice collection.

@Boba:
Which shop are you talking about? T39 covers in white? Did you mean rose white? This would be quite interesting. Can you provide detailled informations?
@ynohtna: Rarely
Maybe 1/3rd of the phones have dead batteries. My phones are all in new condition and some of them were boxed for 10 or more years until I've got them. I don't think that it's necessairy to have a fully working battery for each of the phones. I have at least a few good batteries of each type.
The other phones with good batteries need recharging only every few years. Most people do a big mistake leaving the batteries connected to the phone. This will discharge the battery in a short time because each phone consumes power even when it's switched off. I have little paper stickers that I put on every battery contact. So I can leave the battery inside the phone but there is no electrical connection.

I have an R310s that doesnt get reception. All I get is "searching" and then after about a minute it says "no access". Any ideas why?
Edit: It now gets reception of O2 ok ish. It will show full reception but when you try to make a call it looses reception and cancels the call.

@jcwhite_uk:
if your R380 doesn't work on one band the fault is usually found in the power amplifier. An average price for a new PA is 5 Euro, it can be exchanged by anyone who's got a thin soldering iron. The PA comes with normal legs that have to be soldered to the board.

I've been gettin' this very same dilemma with my T68i at times . . . someone told me that if things like that occur . . . removed the SIM card . . . SCRATCH the gold-plated tins on/against your jeans for about 5-times, sideways . . . and VOILA . . . it worked !
