hi masseur,

I was looking here but I see the files all have the same version number.

I am trying to rip a DVD now... first time, and I guess the process takes a long time !

hmmm... I can see the confusion but certainly the version I have will output in all available formats

I've never done a full movie as I only ever do music videos so I have no idea how long a full movie takes, but you will not be dissapointed at the quality of the output I'm sure

masseur,

of course, you were right ! The quality is excellent !

The video seems to be cropped, from the right side. Opening credits (names) were cropped.

But sound and pictures are excellent !

Thanks very much! I will get this software ordered tomorrow !

Hi Ofiaich,

I use and have been using for ages Movavi Video Converter now on Version 6, it has a really simple one click operation for conversions. It comes with many presets for popular devices including the iPhone and even has the functionality that allows you to create custom profiles.

It has converted all my Films and Video' for my E90 and did the same for my iPhone great quality and easy to use. The trial version allows you to convert 30% of a file to see if you like it or not before you buy it.

Marc

Hi everyone!

First thoughts !

I am enjoying my Touch 32gb very much ! The only problem I am having at the moment, is setting up email.

I tried my Vodafone settings and could not get them the work. I also tried the exchange server and that did not work either. Settings for the exchange server seem different as compared with my info sheets from my service provider for exchange mail. Little bit confusing....

I was using my home WiFi, which does work, because I used the Opera browser successfully!

I didn't give a lot of time, to email setup, so will try to sort it out this weekend !

I have transferred lots of music and also converted 'The Kiss of the Dragon' and it looks and sounds great !

I used masseurs recommendation - DVD Catalyst (see his link a few posts above this one )

I do find that I 'mis-type' sometimes. The Japanese input is very good and easier than on a TyTn II.

I look forward to a 32 gig or 64 gig iPhone with UMTS ! I would love to use that in Japan!

One thing that has surprised me... is I have the faintest of scratches on the back, even though I always put the Touch down on a glasses cleaning cloth or iPod Sock!

I am thinking of getting a PDAir case or a Griffin one. Also seen Belkin Crystal ones but they do not look cool.

I might keep it in an iPod sock with an top quality Nikon lens cleaning cloth.

Still have the original screen protector in place, and will leave it there until I busy a new one.

Good links for these products is appreciated !

thanks !

Hi!

Does Jailbreaking an iPhone or iPod Touch, automatically do a master reset?
