@ ed

Medyo busy sa trabaho at nasa training ng fiber optic sdh kaya hindi ako nakakapost.

Im glad to know na nag improve yong signal mo sa wireless router mo, I did some comparison between Netgear & Linksys, I notice Linksys uses BNC connector on the antenna (netgear don’t). Pwedi mong improvise pag wla kang mabiling high gain antenna. Bili ka ng BNC male connector (on the center core) then solder a long wire then you can experiment the length of the wire for a better signal.

May kamahalan din yong high gain antenna, yong OEM or after market brand $20 less and same effectiveness.

Just a side note, kong mayron kang wireless phone I mean land line wireless, most of those units are operating at 2.4Ghz. some times it will interfere on your wireless router. That’s one of the reason I up graded my phones to 5.8Ghz to avoid interference.

pagkaalam ko po ang ginagamit ng linksys ay mostly Reverse Polarity (RP) TNC connectors as antenna connector ng mga wifi AP at routers nila (as far as i know, hindi or never ata ginamit ang BNC sa mga wifi eqpt).
locally, mahirap hanapin itong mga RP connectors though meron sites sa net that teaches you how to DIY hawshaw a standard TNC into an RP one http://www.nodomainname.co.uk/RP-TNC/rp-tnc.htm
yun standard TNC madali makahanap nito downtown or Avesco palagay ko meron sila

My bad, your right Linksys uses TNC & SMA connectors for their antennas. I don’t know where I get the BNC from, I guess my mind still got stock with the BNC connector dahil may ginagawa ako sa Eng LAB patching signal from Fiber to T3 (BNC connector) back to Fiber.

Not related to the subject matter, where exactly your coordinate located at? (N14°38.6290' E121°02.2450')

I can send some one to take a birds-eye view of your location.

Btw, if anyone out there who hasnt tried Google Earth yet, subukan nyo http://earth.google.com/. Hanep yan 3D program na yan. Nga lang hindi klaro ang mga images dito sa pilipinas (except for Angeles City and parts of Bulacan) pero sa ibang malalaking bansa, bati vulca seal nakatapal sa bubong huli. aside from zooming in at a location, pwede mo pa tilt so you can view from a different angle and perspective.

So Earthquake capital of the world pala location mo koya? sus kapit bahay lang pala tayo. dba yan ang halos asa kanto ng quezon ave at timog? tapat ng dating Delta Theatre??
