Ok so i haven't read any posts because i want to see the film. I read this last week in 2 days, the first book i have read in 4 years hahahaha, not much of a reading fan.
I could not put this thing down it was sooooo good, i am not religious at all so many that is why i liked it. If you are truly content with your faith there is no reason to get worked up about it though.
Cannot wait to see the film just hope it doesn't ruin the book. People have told me if you have read the book don't see the film as it will ruin it.

Yeah, i don't think it was a film to my taste/interest really.
Don't let my grumpiness put you off haha! If you've read the book you'll probably enjoy it more aswell

The film is ok but there is loads of stuff missing in it and things are upside down and back to front. I thought there would be you can't fit a story like that in a couple of hours without leaving bits out.
I am glad i read the book now it is well better than the film, if you haven't read the book then go and see it but if you read the book you will probably be disappointed.

I really agree with you mate. The very reason why the Church banned this movie is because it is a BLASPHEMY meaning it is a SIN against the HOLY GHOST! And the sin against the HOLY GHOST is an UNFORGIVABLE ONE!!! That should also be the reason why a state must also banned the movie because it is an attack against one's religion or belief and the state has the responsibility to protect every one's right & belief whatever will it be.
I must believe that this could be one of signs of the second coming of Christ. As I can remember what Matthew 24:3-14 says:
"And while he was seated on the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, make clear to us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world? And Jesus said to them in answer, take care that you are not tricked. For people will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and a number will be turned from the true way through them.
And news will come to you of wars and talk of wars, do not be troubled, for these things have to be; but it is still not the end. For nation will be moved against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and men will be without food, and the earth will be shaking in different places; But all these things are the first of the troubles.
Then they will be cruel to you, and will put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. And numbers of people will be turned from the right way, and will give one another up and have hate for one another. And number of false prophets will come, causing error.

There is a saying that "watch your ideas for they may become your words, watch your words for they may become your actions, watch you actions for they may become your hobbies, watch your hobbies for they may become your attitude, watch your attitude for they may become your personality!!!"
So who YOU will be and who YOU are now is what you're thinking and believing of! If you are thinking that Da Vinci is real then you already know WHO YOU ARE!!! Beware you might be TRICKED!!!

I saw the DC, but I also read the book beforehand. I have to say the movie is very close to the book. The movie left out some details, but it was nevertheless a really good adaption and I recommend seeing it.

I hadn't read the book but when I saw the film I was with 3 people who had. I seemed to enjoy it more than them as they were annoyed at some of the changes made. As hadn't read book not problem for me - I thought it was a good film but little slow in places. All 4 of us thought it was worth watching, so overall thumbs up
