on the original cropped pics K850 almost matches A410's xenon flash performance

Yes, in the close distance.
But actually, when the distance is greater, A410's xenon flash is really outperforms K850's. A410 is 2-year old model from Canon, but still you can't beat a quality digital camera even if with (considered) one of the best cam-phones.

I've both K810i and K850i and both cams are excellent.
and listen comparison should be in same kind of things like (k810i and N73 etc. and K810i has much better result than N73) but how can u compare a 3.2MP cam with a 5MP????
it should'nt make any sense.
both are the best.
