I use my Satio as an alarm clock as well, in order to help me to wake up in the mornings. Very cool: flip the phone upside down to activate the snooze
However, last night, I was listening to some music on my Satio, using the earplugs. After finishing listening, I left the plugs connected to the phone. This morning, I didn't hear the alarm, since it went off inside the earplugs. Luckily, I woke up anyway, but isn't this to be considered a bug? My K800i did use the ringer speaker even though the ear plugs were connected. I can agree that the ring signal for a phone call should be diverted to the earplugs if they are connected, but not the alarm, or at least it should be configurable. Maybe, this is Symbian related, and can be corrected with a clever setting?

can definately relate to the mixed emotions, some bits are great e.g. the keyboard is much better than any other touch screen phone I've used, calling and texting is easy as anything....doing anything else is a pain.
I'm trying to figure out if debranding my handset (currently Orange build) will help
hate the fact there's no free games with it, only demos
WiFi, it seems like whenever I want to browse on Wifi I have to go through the Wifi menu and press start browsing from there? I can't just leave it running and go into the normal browser
Media Go is SLOW, taking hours to convert a video
No FB app!??!
Hassle to sync my google calender and contacts (managed to sync contacts still not calender), can't find google talk anywhere
Menu is difficult to navigate compared to other SE's
Connected it to my SE bluetooth speaker, was really quiet compared to my blackberry
iPlayer is really hit and miss, most of the files that download wont play, sometimes have to download something a few times before it works
Also, no youtube app on my build and I can't find any apps for it on SE playnow (free ones anyway)
Might send mine back and get an x3 (or whatever they want to call it) when it comes out

I dont have most of the problems you have. If i want to browse the web i just go to the internet icon in the phones root menu. Then it asks which connection i wish to use. Thats probably because ive got the phone set to ask whenever an outgoing connection is made.
@ AbuBasim - you do not have to hold the phone to your face to experience stereo sound. Its only in noisey environments that you couldnt tell. If i place my Satio next to my N95 8gb and play music on each, the Satio sounds really bad compared to the high quality sound from Nokia's stereo speakers. The lack of a stereo speaker in the Satio is a major oversight. Something which SE is all too good at. Even the new X10 AFAIK has no such speakers. Its 2009 for goodness sake !!
@ altemyr - Usually on a S60 the alarm rings from the phone AND the headphones connected. So it sounds like a bug.
@ jmcomms - so what did you different from normal ?

Dunno.. put it down on a different part of the bedside table?!
I've just been given a Vodafone 360 (H1) and a BlackBerry Bold 9700 to play with - so I may not be using the Satio for a little while. I hope SE gets a firmware update ready for when I 'come back' in a week or so!

On the setting of the built in internet browser, under the general tab>Access point> i am not able to change the options....it is stuck at 'Always Ask'.
i checked this on a 5800 and there were more options....
Also i cant delete any wifi connection that has been saved....
I am not able to browse any online shortcuts even if the wifi is connected.....
Anybody else experiencing this...

Hello!
I just got a Satio and i'm in love with the device!!! Beautiful machine!
My questions is, in the Nokia Symbian Devices when you press and hold the end (red) button, the data connections that are active are terminated... how can i do that on Satio??
I have to control my data usage and i don't know how...
Thanks!

On mine, there were two games, full version: One bullet-in-a-labyrinth game and a sudoku game. But my Satio is unbranded.

It should start automatically whenever you use an app, like the web browser, that requires web access.

I found "Snaptu" on SonyEricsson's PlayNow, which is free. It is a multi-communication tool, and one of it's features is a Facebook entry, provided it was that you meant with "FB".

It will take a while to get used to Symbian compared to othe SonyEricsson UI:s. I'm not quite there yet either.
Also, no youtube app on my build and I can't find any apps for it on SE playnow (free ones anyway)
It was on mine. Maybe a branding issue?

You mean X10 Xperia with the Andriod OS?

People tend to forget x10 will be much larger and longer than Satio which is already big
I am perhaps weirdo but I like to have a phone in my hand rather than a laptop size thingy
