what gseth says is a bit true.

When The T68 came out. Everybody says. WOW! SE is much better and advancerd then Nokia.

But the T68 is 1.5 years old and a lot changed. So has Nokia closed in the GAP, Siemens and Samsung has equal phones.

The P800 suposed to be the next WOW! but the release was delayed and delayed so Nokia and others had the time to build there answare faster.

The P800 is just to expancive to be a massive hit. The T610 is a good phone indeed, but there are more phones of that kind on the market. (The 2Mb is not much indeed.)

You know, even though the P800 is super-expensive, it's actually sold out!

That, to me, is impressive.

The expensiveness of thje phone needs to be weighted against what it can do. Previously, people may have had to have a mobile *and* a PDA to do what a p800 could do.

If 1 device replaces 2, chances are the price will be favourable

People will say that other phones do what the p800 does (voice and pda features) but I don't know many other phones that look good surfing the web and holding up to your ear (the xda held up to your ear? Ick )

Well this will be an endless debacle. It is just ironic that the #1 mobile has been asking help(in other threads) or enlightenment from the #5 mobile firm. With that im very pleased.Need to say more?! Being #1 is not everything.I would rather use the BEST than use the #1.There is no perfect phone in this imperfect world but ericsson/SE is close to Best in my book even if it isnt #1 in general. The problem is that se are good at high end phones(t68/p800/t610), every phone shop going sells these, though they are more expensive and sell less than low end phones. Low end se phones are not marketed or sold at meny shops, for the first year of the joint venture only the t68/i was marketed strongly, the t66/t65 and sony j7/j70 almost did not exist, so if people do not know you are selling somthing how are they surposed to know to buy it? Se don't help them selfs some times, for example the t300 has been out for a 6 months now in the uk and the only place you seen tho be able to buy facia plates is the se web site, why?

the problem of is shipping and number of supply, the T65 sold very good in belgium as did the R600, T200 was almost as good as the 3310 but there weren't enough supply's.BT headsets are taking ages to get here, T68 selling good, but now nokia has lowerd all there colour screen phones to about +-300€ and thats very low, and now there selling great except the 7250 wich is having a great loss because of the samsung V200. P800 is becomming a big hit, T310 is selling good for 209€, we were the first country that had it!

Well, one of the major problems of se is its marketing. They do not advertise as frequently as Nokia does. In India I see a Nokia add very 4-7 days, but it take nearly 4 - 5 months to see a SE adv.
