Damn, after reading all of your responses, I'm dying here (literally) laughing my arse off.... loool
Ok, first of all, the phone is dry, has been since Friday.
Second of all, I've been busy with other things, hence didnt get a chance to get on here.
Thirdly, its not a hoax, and the results are sweeter than I thought....
Check these pics out:
Due to someone complaining about the awefully large pictures before, these should be resonable
Words are not enough to express, how awesome the phone feels, and how solid she fits into my hand. The texture is gloss smooth, the multi-layering of the polish and laquer did the trick, the paint is not on the phone, it has become one with the phone!
The pearlescent sparkle in the sunlight over the past few sunny spells is just unbelievable, I dont think I've seen a sparkle as good as this since I saw Moondust Metallic on blackpools finest.
@V:
Havent had much time to continue on the media player project, but its still live and I will be working further on it when I get the chance.
Thanks guys for sharing your condolences.
Cya.

@V:
The paint job is just like a cars paint job, strong, solid and smooth!
I did wet/dry sand the phone first, and I didnt layer it with primer, as the composition of the plastic on the p800 contains some un-primer friendly elements. But I did layer it a few times with the paint and then rub it down again, leaving a few layers of paint on edges etc.
I guess when the layers all settled, they stretched and solidified like rubber to plastic and the clear coat is just the hardener on top.
No stickyness at all. Its well worth it, it now really feels like a phone, and it visually looks smaller too, of course due to the black and shiny colour effect.
