> Why doesn't SE make a perfect phone?

The S700 is an overpriced white elephant. A kind of phone which you use to show off. I wouldn't be complaining if SE had positioned itself as a premium brand. But unfortunately it isn't one. The sales of the S700 has been stagnant here to say the least. I and my friend who were very much excited about the launch of the S700 were shocked to hear its price tag. Now, i don't mind spending money on a truly great product. But the deal i was getting was raw and SE was definitely taking us for a ride.

Why complain about the high price S700? Go and buy another brand. There r many which give better value for money than S700.

Thats exactly what i'm thinking of doing. But i love SE! But that doesn't mean se should rip us off. I'm not complaining about the P910. It may not be "perfect" but it offers a good balance of price and features.

S700 is overpriced everywhere, hope the price drops when se analyzes sales numbers

S700 is definitely overpriced for the little improvement in its features compared to the K700. IMO however, there's no point arguing about it, just find another brand/model or if you really prefer SE, then wait for the next models.

News just in. The 9300 costs the same as the S700 here. Now which is the better deal?

With that competition, sales for S700 will be hard to mantain, price must be drop or marketing must work for it.

But then, these two phones should never really be compared. The 9300 ain't got a cam.

Doesn't have a cam, but sure is an impressive smartphone with 80mb plus memory card, for those who have a nice camera, 9300 should be a nice option to have in mind.
