@vanquish i would prefer attach cams instead of built in, with diff megapixel sizes for every taste, need and wallet. For example a kind of mca serie.

I totally agree with vanquish.I live in India, although s700 has not been launched here I can say that not many people will buy this phone in India. My only request to se is to make mass market phone like nokia is doing and not concentrate on pricey models which is likely to hit se bottomline.

I can understand where vanquish is coming from. You would probably be able to find a handset that does what the S700 does for less money. But will it have Sony's proven good design and SE's feature packed savvy technology.
Being a top-end phone, the S700 is a luxury item. I am sure if you tried hard enough you could find it hard to justify throwing good money on any luxury item.
It is purely up to the buyer what value he places on what they purchase. I suppose it could depend on how much money you have to throw around.
To some people the S700 may be just an expensive gadget, to others it will be a work or art....

The price is quite high, no doubt... But i couldn't resist any further. Got my S700! I change phones quite often and can say for sure that the s700 is worth the premium price. Every bit of it. Beg borrow or steal... if you want it, get it. :D
