@blackspot; you are right, anyway pple in the city where there is better connection are more fashion conscious about the beauty and portability of their sets than the rural areas where network service is weak.

Sorry, never used an SE fone, am very fashion conscious about my fones and more particular about portability, if am to go for an SE fone next, which one has the beauty and brains?

I live in North Carolina and up until last week, used a P900. I had a T616 before that. I got better reception with my P900 despite not having the 850 mhz frequency of the T616. I use Cingular Wireless so it operates on both 850 and 1900. There were still times that my reception wasn't that great... goin under bridges, in large stores, etc. Well last week I got a P910a. What a difference. In places where I used to have one bar and break up I now have full signal! Just about everywhere I go I have full signal. It's a HUGE improvement.

Mobile service providers are always expanding their network and will eventually cover most if not all areas where there are probable subscribers. IMO, cellphone manufacturers are aware of this so they put less priority to improving signal reception on the new models -- instead they put more resources on developing new technology and radical designs. Considering also the percentage of subscribers who might have complained about weak signal reception over people who demand for better features and better designs, the latter would surely gain more attention.
