Its hard to prove yes, but also hard to disprove.

Companies do not usually mention the exact components they use because its not necessary.

For example, Nokia often use a company called Murata to manufacture their Bluetooth chips, and IBM for their CPUs. But you dont see them mentioning it anywhere.

There seems to be an awful lot of S700i fans on this forum who dont seem to want to let go of the "best image quality" crown.

Face it, the S700i's camera is left obsolete by the K750's.

Obsolete is a bit of an overstatement to say the least.

There will always be fans of the S700i/S710a, regardless of the imaging quality as there is still no other phone out there to match the S7's combination of brilliant screen, excellent imaging and rare form-factor, thats what makes the S Special.

Although, I do admire the imaging qualities of the K750 quite a lot, it still looks a bit 'Run-o'-th'-mill', but then that is my personal opinion.

However, I have no problems accepting that the imaging qualities are better than the S's. (Swines!!!)

They have done a good job. Especially incorporating that new lens.

So who is gonna start the "Pictures and Images taken with the K50i" forum then?

2numb : Ok then, you can believe everything that you want, fine with me. But i will not let you misguided other people in this open forum.

I think i have to show you some important facts about this :

- None of the reviewer at websites, magazines, or even SE, mentioned about fluid lenses before. And trust me, SE nowadays like to 'labeling' almost their features. Look at SE packages.

- That fluid lenses appear on CEBIT. Halo? Its in Cebit.

"Look ladies and gentlemen on "Philip" stand, we have fluid lenses and if you playing around to our next neighbor at "Sony Ericsson" stand you will see SE K750 with it".

I never see new technology appear on Cebit with direct implementation (and if any, usually a press release held before it). And, it used by "other" company?
The logic is strange. Philips must have been introduced first phone with the lens rather than SE.
And technology at Cebit usually very new and something that has been kept on a secret until the event, especially to competitor.

Focal point focus that you mentioned is can be done by photoshop program too. You have to use a selector layer and select area where you want to focus or become the background. Any photoshop user must known this. It is something that imaging software easily done.

Saying k750 autofocus is a software only feature is completly nonsense...you just have to look to the photos!!!! That kind of sharpness (for instance in the keys photo in the comparative btw s700, 6630 and k750) canīt be obtained digitally...thatīs insane...

And the (macro) photo of the glass of beer (background out off focus)...thatīs not a digital only effect!!!!

@arez : i think you have to play with imaging software more. Everything that K750 capable of doing is easily matched with imaging software, and even more.

Easily matched??? Your joking right???? I have digital camearas since 4 years ago, i do alot of editing, and i do understand something about photography in general and digital also - and i say you are WRONG

Well if SE has this revolutionary autofocus/macro software i wonder why all those cheap fixed focus cameras on the market donīt use it...

I repeat, you must be joking...or need to get your eyes fixed

@ numb, where did you hear the K750 uses it ?

@ etaab

Do you own a K750?

What the hell do you know, other than everything you read and spit out as if you were a subject expert on the K750.

The phone isn't even out.

Buy it, try it, and then put your money where your mouth is.

At least the S700 owners can talk and brag. They have the unit.

You are just talking out of your mouth on every topic.

Listen for once, Mr. SE

@Arez : Please calm down mate, i do not have anything against you or K750.

I do not know how to prove this but i think any Photoshop user can help me?

Or maybe this, maybe if CHIP magazine available in your country try to find their latest Photo-Video Digital edition. Some newest article show the editing picture and showing some picture from S700, nokia 6630, siemens S65 and nokia 7610. Some articles show amazing capability using software to shadowing, croping, focusing, etc

Or try to buy book about using Photoshop program, which to me the best imaging program available. (Too bad the software is expensive). You will find many features that K750 capable of doing and even more.
