etaab : when you invest over 380€ into a phone, the least you can expect is that you are not disappointed and annoyed by manufacturing defects.
But who says it is a defect ? maybe people with the phones that dont creak have the defective phones because the case is fastened on too tight ?
Maybe SE allows some movement in the K750i's case so that if it does take a direct it, it wont shatter apart like a cheap Nokia phone.
At the end of the day, we dont know whether the K750i is poorly built, we only have opinions - and mine is that the K750i is a very high quality phone.

Do this to spot the creaks:
1. Dip the phone in water.
2. Shake it as hard as possible to dry it. Better to tie it to a string and spin it fast as possible. If any parts fall off, ignore this as you probably did not need these anyway.
3. Use not one but two cans of WD-40 on the entire phone.
4. As an added safety measure, dip the entire phone in one can of Mobile-1 motor oil.
Enjoy your phone.

End of the story :
I returned my K750 to SE service center, and after an explaination about the creaking problem (they finally agreed it looked like a manufacturing defect) they replaced my handset.
Since then, no creacking, no craking, no problem !
