Hi Lisa,

I have a suggestion that BigBen could has a option to disable the "sound" during it locked the phone. Because I can heard lots of annoying warrning sounds that "told" me the keyboard was touched but actually the phone is inside my waist pocket, probably the wheel move a little bit when I am running.

Besides, please also avoid to lit the screen if the keyboard was touched by unexpected activities during BigBen locked the phone, this is for power save reason. However, keep only one key to lit the screen (e.g. [OK] ) this is to show the clock when in dark situation.

Thanks!

Albatross,

I think the screen-lighting-up problem isn't something that can be solved. Something about SE not allowing access to that bit of code, which is why it's only the built-in keylock that can do it.

Annoying, yes.

Do you like to have the screen/button 'click' sounds on normally then? I turned them off straight away 'cos they were annoying - I can see when I've clicked on something!

@Qwerty_uk

Thanks for the answer. It seems the BigBen was did good job enought except the SE's limitation. I would like someday sometime SE could release all the secret, so the 3rd party software company could program something really cool!

Can we have any updates on developments being worked on, and a possible forecast of the next update?

Cheers

Currently we are completely overwhelmed with finalizing another product, nevertheless an update to BigBen (version 1.40) is scheduled to be out in November, containing bug fixes and recently requested new features/options.

Hi, anybody use Bigben with P800? that kill-soft run on my P800 well except a small bug: after the phone has any kind of alerts, eg calls (in and out), sms, alarm, the autolock and sound chime stop working. Is that Bigben feature or my P800 fault? I can solve it by using hotkey for lock the phone, but it is more convinience to have it automatically. Thanks

BigBen version 1.40 is released. This free upgrade contains new options for PC detection and flip-dependant locking behavior, plus improved compatibility with Motorola phones, and bugfixes. Download from CellPhoneSoft or My-Symbian.

Thanks for the PC detection option. This is great, as I prefer to keep the clock displayed when on the docking station.

I'm a bit disappointed, however, that there is still no way to set the on/off times to extend past midnight (eg. at weekends). I really think a "day" should be defined as 4am-3:59am rather than midnight-11:59. Any chance of getting this amendment?

I would also still love a choice of colours for the digital time display (pref. choosing two colours to signify reminders on/off state).

One 'bug' to report. If there is a call, and I manually choose "send busy", my P910 knows that I am aware of the call and does not bother to put a missed call indicator in the status bar. Bigben, however, counts this as a missed call and initiates reminders. I don't think this should happen. I noticed this behaviour when driving (and using P910 as GPS). It was annoying because the reminder was sounding every 5 mins and I was not in a position to fiddle with the phone while driving in order to view the call list.

Thanks
