when do things get decided? Or is this going to go on forever? My suggestion is that lafen should form a group consisting of mods and some others of his choice- without involving a lot of people- and them decide on such things in private. Starting threads like this is really informative but has no other purpose what so ever .

My post wasn't actually aimed at you.
The religion thread is going well because we're all listening to each other; it's not the subject matter that causes problems (although I imagine there's more potential for polical/religious threads to get over-heated), it's the posters.
