Ok I am looking for some help, I have gubbed my iphone (technical term). I installed a couple of apps, books, darwin origin of species and then a ctu24 ringtone.
Now I cannot find the phone with my pc and it is resetting itself every 30 secs or so and it doesn't give me time to get into installer to remove the apps.
How do you put it into recovery without going through ziphone? Has anyone else had these problems and can anyone help? I am kinda worried i've done something serious and as I cannot sort it and didn't register it I could be in trouble???

Sorry for the inane question but no idea about these things. Please advise

iPhone will connect to known wi-fi networks automatically when they are in range, so it'll browse via wi-fi when you're at home.

Connect the phone to your PC and hold down the power button (on the top) and home button simultaneously. Keep them held for about 30 seconds, and you should see the "connect to iTunes" icon (it looks like the iTunes icon with a cable connecting to it). Your phone will then be in recovery mode, and your PC should recognise it. You'll get a message saying, "iTunes has discovered an iPhone in recovery mode".

Hi guys
Another question, I already had itunes which was synced with my existing ipod. I have successfully synced my iphone but only a few of the album covers appear in the cover flow mode. Is this something that can be rectified, how do I get all the album covers?? Please Help

you just select an album or multiple albums, right cilck and choose get album artwork
you'll need to have an itunes account for that to work though
if that doesn't get them all then simply find the album on any site like play.com, amazon etc, click on the picture of the album, right click and copy. Then back in itunes right click on the album or track, click get info, click the artwork tab and paste the image into the box
