Hi

Still no way to mount the W660i on Tiger 10.4.10 desktop.

I've bought Feisar plug-ins and tried La Mouette's one to no avail.

I just could sync by Bluetooth in a very limited way (tasks and agenda are crippled and not all items of AdressBook are handled correctly.

This phone is a joke anyway, with a ludicrous autonomy and lots of bugs.

For those speaking French, here are some more explanations:

iSync Phone Plugins are not supposed to allow you to mount your phone on the desktop, no matter who makes them.

You must connect the phone in "File Transfer" mode for the phones memory to mount on the desktop.

There is a bug in Mac OS X 10.4.10 that stops iSync from detecting phones plugged in via USB. This is clearly mentioned on mobile.feisar.com

In what way are "tasks and agenda crippled and not all items of AdressBook are handled correctly". Give details.

If you are using the Feisar iSync Phone Plugin, then you should not be having any problems. It syncs all data as described on the Product Page. Have you even tried to find a solution? There are many listed here.

99.9% of iSync errors are caused by corruption in your original data.

No-one else is reporting any problems with our W660 Phone Plugin. Why have you not contacted us for help??

The K750, with which you compare the W660 to in your post is a much older phone. Technology has moved on. Sony Ericsson has updated the way many things work.

Credit goes to okoshiyasu of my-symbian for making P1i work as Mass Storage.

Based from magnus' M600USBFileEnabler.

I posted in general and I should probably post here.

I've decided to switch from windows to Mac so I am a new a new Mac book owner I just bought the notebook a week ago so my version is 10.4.10 and isync 2.4.

I am trying to get everything organized but I am having a problem with my Ericsson's k790a. I am able to do everything via blue tooth (through isync and through phone agent) but it is too slow for transferring files.

When I connect using the USB cable, the phone gives me 3 options : phone mode, file transfer, and print. When I choose file transfer, the phone reboots but I don't get the 2 mass storage drives I am supposed to get on my desktop. Am I missing something? I read a few posts on line and isync 2.4 doesn't require any additional add ons right? How do I enable the mass storage?

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to this site. It is probably the best for getting up and running.
