Today arrived my R250. cost 17€, in a very bad condition:
the magnesium house is a bit bended:)
The lcd is cracked, and the foil is teared up.
but i decide that i search an lcd, and i find an Er S868 and the lcd is the same and it works( so i don'n need to buy a new one for 20€....)
but i saw an intresting thing. the r250 pcb and the 868 pcb is quite similar:
same cpu, ant the everything is on the same place.
so the r250 pro is not other than a nearly indestructible s868(without irda)
i tested the pcb an it worx perfectly. but it need a new case.

Did you already check the speaker? It usually breaks when the phone crashes harder. The problem is the magnet inside the speaker case: It is only fixed with a little drop of glue. When it gets lose, it will leave its centered position and you won't be able to properly reposition it.

i solve the lcd problem:

i bent the back to "nearly" normal, but not the best. the top 2 screw-hole is completly missing, but next week i buy a new front cover( i thint the last in hungary...) but i'm intrested for the back. how much it would be? did U find the gh388 flip, if yes that intrested too, and the t200 lcd as well. thanks.

i create a new custom IMEI sticker, because its completly missing.
and i create a "new" battery, with 1200mAh NI-CD batts, it look like
cr@p jet, but i will made a case for it, until the new battery arrives.

yes my freinds, one of the oldest and most respected, informative and succesful thread on esato has bday. instead of writinf here usual things,
i wish to thank all of your support, help and posts here, to keep the three stripes alive. without u it would have been never possible, to create the one and only excisting "forum" on the whole entire internet, dedicated to the swedish giant...
