@Stolleman,

you are so right, we, the Ericsson friends in this forum are getting viewer. Now look at this:

At the end of 2004 we are on page 177
At the end of 2005 we are on page 436 (+259 pages written in 2005)
At the end of 2006 we are on page 525 (+89 in 2006)
At the end of 2007 we are on page 615 (+90 in 2007)
At the end of 2008 we are on page 640 (+25 in 2008)
At the end of 2009 we are on page 647 (+7 in 2009)
At the end of 2010 we are on page 656 (+9 in 2010)
At the end of 2011 we will probably be on page 664 (+8 in 2011)

So you see, since 2009 the amount of pages written in this forum is between 7 and 9 per year.

Funny to see this again: my personal entry on esato.com is January 2005. You can find my first steps in this forum in January 2007, page 533, where I presented the R320 GPRS Prototype

I can remember many collectors an Ericsson friends from these days: r0sewhite, Tigerente, BobaFett, Hanky, Bart, jcwhite uk and many others

@ bucheral

Beautiful pic of those phones and the second pic of you glas cabinet would be a great christmascard

Thats amazing and very sad to see, feels like i'm to late collecting and participate those great discussions there were, I haven't been collecting for even a year

One question for you bucheral, from wich year and week are your "T28 fully working design Study"?

@all

An former ///-employee(once again) contacted me and had some Ericsson-stuff he wondered if I wanted and I have to say that it´s one of the best /// since my GS88.
Ericsson S1088 is a realy realy early prototype of the legend T28, condition is as new and doesn't have a single scratch, it's only some dustparticles. It still hasthe screencover.

And i will end this post with a couple of pics of three Ericsson prototypes.

Hi bucheral!

Thank you for the info and pic, does the back has the standard color?
I have never heard about it before and I can't find anything about on the internet, the Ericsson logo that should have been on the front have never been mounted.
I can se in your collection S838 and S988, i wonder what Ericsson got those numbers from..

@all
About the "manual" för A1018, the seller said it was made for trying out the inside of the boxes for the A1018, it's a kind of proto manual

Hi Stolleman,

yes, the back has the standard colour. About the S838 and the S988 I don't know why the "S", your 1088 is a "S" too, maybe this letter is used for prototypes during a certain period??? And the numbers...? This is a very good question

Hi bucheral,

It's a too good question if we don't have an answer, the hunt will go on!
But i think so too that Sxxx/Sxxxx is for prototypes but are there more phones with this kind of model number? I hope we will find more of this early prototypes

Hi Stolleman,

yes Bang and Olufsen was a good partner for Ericsson, I think the handsets are exceptional Ericsson cooperated with Ascom too, behind you see the Ascom Discovery:
